An Astute Observation

My Grandmother was down this weekend. Before we had dinner, she watched as I threw five ice-cubes into a glass and poured myself a Magners.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

"Pouring myself a Magners," I said, style oozing from my pores. "It's trendy to have it with ice."

"Well, why don't you just water it down and put it in the fridge?" she asked.

I have no answer to that.

Oooh.Wiz zees two posts in one week, you are spoiling us ;-)
Continuing with the food observations, Thai green curry looks exactly the same on the way up (and all over the taxi driver)as it does going down. This explains why I've not had one since 2003. Yummy.

I remember a while back I was wearing jeans with ripped knees and my granmother asking if I need to buy a new pair. My reply was that they were trendy and her response was "That was trend a few years ago, not any more."
My friends and I just looked at each other and had no response either!

China - it also tastes pretty similar on the way up, so you're getting twice the enjoyment for your money. What's the problem with that?

Ghone - ripped jeans?? Sounds like you should be consulting your grandmother more often...
